Is there a way to setup Categories for emails in Lotus Notes like in Outlook
Hello EE,
I used to have Outlook and the company here uses Lotus. I used to have categories in Outlook where I'd have: researching, on hold, immediate, etc. In Lotus I am wondering from the client side if there is a way to set something up so I don't keep going back to the same emails in my inbox and reading over and over if it's read, but not marked as on hold if I'm waiting for something, etc.

I am on version 8.5
I've done the unread, but that just has be going back to reread it. I'd like to call it out if it's something I'm researching or waiting on information for so I don't keep going back to read it.
I've been playing with flags, but would like to have a few more or change the label from high, normal and low to research, on hold, etc. Is this possible?
If I use folders they won't be in the inbox correct? I'd like to keep them here for attention, but just at a glance be able to say I can skip this one for now.

Darn! Oh well. Thanks
:-) I hope you can find your way!
E.g., you can:
- mark mails unread
- flag mails for Follow Up (3 different flags)
- use folders inside the mail database, and drag mails into one or more folders
- add one or more categories to a mail, but there is no categorized view (it can be used in calendar entries though).
