Lotus Domino 5.0.3 Clustering

I have two servers in my domino domain and have them configured as a cluster.

The cluster it's self is working ok with the specified databases beeing clustered.

However when one of the servers fails the other does not talk over. I think this is because the clients have no idea that they are talking to a clusterd server and thus do not know that they shoulf look elswhere for the requested database.

THE QUESTION:-

How do I configure the Lotus Notes 5 client to talk to a cluster ???

Release 5 client automaticly know who alternate cluster members are, as they are retrieved when the client is authenticated with the home server.  You may want to check the Public Address Book to ensure the first server OR home server that the client is accessing has replicated the Public Address Book correctly.

From Notes point of view you have not to care anything about cluster.
But the client has to have network connection to both servers. And this is not so trivial.
If one client has got  already in any time a connection to both servers than the fail over will work.

Try this: hold down ctrl+shift key and select: "Find replicat" for an icon of a database in cluster.

In that case i have a worse problem.  The pud address book in replicating fine between the two servers but if you shut on down the clients cant find any databasees that have been clustered.
