For Q 1 & 4:
Open your mail template in design mode (provided you have the designer client installed), go to Resources-Other then you will see a list of items you can modify on the right side, choose Shared Actions. When you click on Shared Actions you will be presented with a long list of actions. There are duplicates for some of the actions, ones for use on the notes client and the others for use on the web only. You can tell the difference when you double click on an item to get its properties box, then choosing the hide/when tab (or the tab in the middle). If you see 'Notes 4.6 or later' checked then it means its an action for the web. If 'Web Browsers' is checked then it means its an action designed for the client. Check in the list for any action that you would like to disable, and if its the version for the web, then just check the 'Web Broswers' option in its properties box, and the action will be hidden for your users on the web. At any stage you can just go back and uncheck this item to get your action back on.
For Q 2:
Go to forms, then choose the defulat form 'Memo'. Once you are in the memo form, look for some javascript which is just before the [Body] field. The JS is like this: "<A HREF="javascript:setApplet
<A HREF="javascript:setEditAp
For Q 3:
Still in design mode, from the left pane choose 'Folders', then look for a folder named ($Inbox), double click it (you will receive a warning box just click on OK to bypass it). When in there, you will see on top the list of columns, choose the column that you want to sort you mail upon. Double click the column, choose the second tab. Then choose the type of sorting you want. If this is not what you looking for, please clarify.
Hope this helps,
-Gus
Shared Actions can be found when you choose from the left pane 'Resources', then when you click that, you will get 'Other...' beneath it. When you click 'Other', check in the right side and you will find find 'Shared Actions' double click it to view all your actions.
'Folders' Appear on the left.
You must opent he database in design mode to see those. You must also have the designer client installed. Try to right click on a database icon, you will see a 'Open in Designer' option.

Hi kevinc8,
happy new year!
For all above topics you have to change the design of mail50.ntf/StdR50Mail
Make a copy of this db template, change the template name in db design tab from: StdR50Mail to anything new.
Give your personal mail.nsf db the design inheritance name to this new ntf copy and start testing.
For this question:
1. how can I hidden the 'send' button, only 'send and save' button appear after composing a mail?
goto shared actions and change the hide-when option for Send\Send to both: hide for Client and Web users.
For question two: I do never see this message. Do you want not to use rt-applet?
For question three and four: make a new EE question of this!
Regards,
stamp
