Question
Notes Ver 4.6 archiving to include folders?
At my place if work we use Lotus Notes Ver 4.6. Yes I know its way out of date, but that is what we have to use, both for internal and external mailing.
We have been given a directive to reduce our mail boxes or it will be done for us and the limit has been set at 100MB.
I have been trying to archive my email and my question is this:
Is it possible with this version (4.6) to archive the email database including the folders. As it looks at present, we have to selectively archive individual emails, which will take forever.
Does anyone know of a solution, please. Thanks in advance.

Other options is to keep a local replica, and in hte replication settings - advanced, uncheck the incoming deletions.
This will let you keep mail locally, but the server mail can be cleaned up.
I would make sure that you set the maximum size of the database to 4 GB at the time you create the local replica, as the default is only 1 GB.
