The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. everything looks fine but nobody has email

Hi, got a problem.

Nobody can send or receive any email today yet everything looks normal.

I got in touch with out internet provider (pipex) and they tested the line to our server and it was fine. The tech guy also managed to log on to our mailserver and send me an email. (I gave him the IP address). However the email doesn't appear in my mailbox on the server and when I send/receive on my local machine I don't get the email.

However everything looks fine, as in the domino server window is chuntering away nicely saying who is logged on to get email etc. And when people send/receive email locally it connects fine, just no email sent or received.

However no sign of any email. where could it have gone? Our provider pipex don't store email it just comes straight to our mail server. Will I have lost all the email?

help/advice desperately needed because tempers are raised.

Our domino server is 5.06.

There is something though that I don't like. Everyday our mcafee on access scanner deletes virus in nrouter.exe. I have virusscanned our mailserver mnay times and none of these viruses exist on our mailserver or any other machine. Presumably these are viruses coming in which get deleted. Am I right? is there anyway I can stop this?

Anyway I've done a screen dump of what our viruscanner was picking up in about 30 minutes and have posted them at these two websites if it would help anybody.
