The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Send reminder to user based on date until date is apply

Asked by kopibean in Lotus Notes

Tags: reminder, send

I have created a form(MthPlan) which consist of a table. It contains in the 1st column, Jan, Feb,Mar,Apr,May,Jun,Jul,Aug,Sep,Oct,Nov,Dec and 1st row 1,2,3,4,5...until 31.
For Jan row, I have text fields - Jan1,Jan2,Jan3...until Jan31 and
For Feb row, Feb1,Feb2....until Feb31, and so on for the other rows(Mar,Apr,May,Jun,Jul,Aug,Sep,Oct,Nov) until Dec.
All fields default value is 0.

Situation:
Person-in-charge will help user to enter 0,1 or 0.5 in the text fields Jan1,Jan2...Feb1...Mar3...so on until Dec31 for the months Jan to Dec in the form(MthPlan).
A reminder will start to send to person-in-charge and user every first day of the month(Jan to Dec) to remind users which dates they apply for that month. For each month, if user ignore this reminder, it will keep on sending to user and person-in-charge until user submit his annual leave form with the dates he enter for that month and the status of the form is completed, it will stop sending the reminder for that month.

E.g.,
If user enter 1 in F3,1 in F4,1 in F5,0.5 in F6 and so on,it will check against another form(Annual Leave) and its date/time computed field - dlist which consist of several dates in a form, if the dlist contains 03022005,04022005,05022005,06022005 and all match, it will check if it is 1 for 03022005,1 for 04022005,1 for 05022005 and 0.5 for 06022005 in a number computed field - halist which consist of several 1 or 0.5 numbers. If all match, it check the status of the form,if status = "Completed", there will be no reminder send to user.

How do I create the formula for my agent for the above?
Please advise.
Thank you very much.
