That is the problem,
we do do a backup, but for some reason ARCServe does not appear to have backed up any .nsf files. We have 2 networks both being backed up by seperate backup servers, both have the same Arcserve version and both are configured the same, but the other backed up the .nsf files whereas the one with the mail boxes on didn't. Unless, of course, Arcserve did back them up but is just not displaying .nsf files for some reason.
Any ideas?

No. You must restore it from backup (you do have backups, don't you ?)
You can try finding one of the "file recovery tools", that are available on the internet and will recover deleted files from the harddisk ...
