Virus -  thumbs.db

Hi,

I found something called thumbs.db, i dont know what is this. Is this a virus or worm, It has deleted all mails in archive ( Lotus notes) . It is found in somany folders in d drive. If i try to delete it is not getting deleted.

I have symantec antivirus which also up to date i.e virus definition file is updated and symantec antivirus version is  10.1.5.5000.
