basically the boss wants to put in a date range FromDate ToDate and wants to see only the docs that fall in that range. It can't be this difficult!

View based on a date range
Hi Experts,
I've looked this up and have found some solutions but I can't get any of them to work for me. Here it is I have a view that has documents with due dates, I need to be able to pick a select about of dates i.e. FromDate-Todate then display those documents. Obviously a single category view will not work. I have this formula @Explode(@TextToTime(@Text

And you don't want a calendar view? You get the subset for free there, and the user can even define the period he wants to see...
Is this for a permanent view? Then use a selection formula.
Or do you want more flexibility, by modifying FromDate and ToDate? Then use db.Search (or FTSearch), and maybe a private Folder to put all documents in. Or a NotesNewsletter, but then it won't be a view any more.
