How to link 2 form's data into 1 view in Lotus Notes

Hi Experts,

I have 2 forms.
Form A contains the following fields :
1) employee name
2) ext no
3) phone serial no

Form B contains the following fields :
1) phone serial no
2) phone status
3) model

How do I link this 2 form's data into 1 view using the key "phone serial no" like how the relational database did ?
Please advise.

In a view, on one line, in Notes? Can't be done.

Alternatives:
1/ You can show the info on two adjacent lines, that's no problem.
2/ You can create an agent that updates one of the documents with the info of the other documents, so you can show them on one line in a view

Haven't had a chance to play with it, but I believe t he newest versions of Notes/Domino allow some of t his. Otherwise, you have to incorporate the merged data into a single document, not two documents, because notes is completely not relational, and requires the data to be denormalized.

Agreed..... if the database is arranged like that it has been written by someone familiar with relational databases rather than Notes...
