View Outbox

I have Lotus Notes 8.0.2 client installed and I am not able to view the Outbox. When I had the version 6.5 client, I was able to view the Outbook.
How do I enable it?

That was a custom template...probably the openNTF template.

If you go to File->Open->Lotus Notes application and type mail.box as the filename you can see your outbox

it did not work.
I got the message as File "mail.box" does not exist

are you connected to a domino server? If not or you transfer via SMTP then try smtp.box as the filename

if you're connected to the domino server then there is no outbox to view? The outbox is only used to store messages temporarily while you are disconnected from the server.

I don't see the outbox after the client was upgraded to ver 8
in ver 6.5, I had the outbox

I had to update the template and it is working fine now.
