Question

Colouring rows containing subtotals

Asked by: shaz0503

All

i have searched and I don't know what I am seeking is possible.

Would like to be able to colour the row where a subtotal appears in a spreadsheet. (would be preferable to be only the width of the data set but ...)  Each subtotal contains a unique id number and then 'total'.

Any suggestions - have tired varying solutions posted but nothing seems to be suitable.

TIA

What version of excel are you using? Can you provide a sample of the way the data looks now and what you want it to look like.
