Yes, wk1 are not supported in Excel 2007 as documented here

Question
I cannot open a file with a WK1 extension, It was created using Lotus
I have a user who needs to open up some old files..... They have a WK1 file extension,................
she got a new laptop and could open them on her old laptop which she thought she was opening with the microsoft excel program
Is that possible and if so how?
or will i need to download some type of lotus software on the users pc that is going to be opening those files
if so are there any free software downloads for this older software?
