I have a thinkpad R61i using a downgraded Windows XP professional (from Vista Home Premium) and I am trying to run Lotus 123 ver 2.2 in DOS from command prompt but when I open a large file I get memory full. FYI, I was able use this very same program and files on my old Compaq Presario with no problem. In fact, the Presario's screen when I go to full mode does not look like an emulation but on the Thinkpad it does look like an emulation (text and characters are fuzzy looking). Oh yeah, I tried DosBox when the Thinkpad had Vista Home Premium but it did not work well. I've tried changing default.pif and 123.exe's memory's properties but nada. I even tried this from microsoft...
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/154775 and it too did not work. Please help, I just want my 123 to work like it does on the Presario. Thanks
