I have 40 Approach databases to convert from Approach to Excel - Thankfully the Approach ver they use has saved in .dbf already (seems to do it automatically along with a few other extensions - apr, adx, dbt).
I can open their data in Excell so the important bit is sorted. Just export and import (open with Excel seems to do the same), but the .apr file ope in an Approach viewer which has nice looking tables and columns and text boxes in asorted colours etc which I have never seen Excel do - Is their a presentation viewer from Microsoft (or third party) like Lotus?
I'd like to get it as close as they are used to seeing as possible ! Also the (.apr) file opened in Approach Viewer seems to have other pages or tabs which has reports, summaries, letter of invoice - same details (in other forms) and related notes or Letters/attachments IN THE SAME WOORKSHEET?FILE which does not show in Excel.
Can an EXPERT Help PLEASE???
I've put Intermediate as I've used both Lotus and Microsoft but maybe I should put beginner as I've never converted or seen this before.
