Lotus Notes crashing anytime I try to attach a file

Anytime one of our end users tries to attach a file within Lotus Notes it crashes.  Sometimes the user does not even get to choose the file they want to attach, Lotus Notes freezes with the explorer window open while they are trying to find the file.  We have deleted the Cache.NDK file and it seemed to work as a temporary fix but the problem has come back.  Any feedback would be appreciated.
