Enter as an array formula ( ctrl+shift+enter ) and put a comment in the cell to remind you to use ctrl+shift+enter every time you edit it !

Make a help calculation in a separate row, use this formula
=FLOOR(COLUMN()/ODD(COLUMN
The formula will result in either 1 or 0 depending on which column it is.
Now you can use the SUMPRODUCT formula to sum you data and it will always only take every second column.
in this example I have placed my help calculation in row 2, and I sum the data in row 3.
=SUMPRODUKT(C2:IV2;C3:IV3)
