Congratulations, Brad! It's not really a surprise that you got it, but you definately deserve it!

Brad, I was watching your amazing point escalation with interest and when I saw that you were gonna hit the 1 mil mark soon, I was fully prepared to send a similar post when you got there, but Dave beat me to it :)
Thank you for all of your help and the help you give to everyone! I don't know how you do it, I'm in awe..
Congratulations!!!!!
All the best,
Justin
It's probably time for me to sit on my thumbs and let someone else answer these questions for a change — but I don't think that would be anywhere near as much fun as hanging around you people.
This has got to be the best Technical Area at EE, because all the regulars genuinely want to help and add value to the discussion. I can't recall the last time I saw squabbling or backbiting. I would have guessed that Excel was one of the more active TAs, but it's only number 45 according to ameba's ranking http://www.geocities.com/a
The MIS professionals among you have added some discipline to the coding examples posted here—and certainly put a lot of my coding practices to shame. Others of you are amateurs, and by approaching a problem from a completely unexpected direction make my head spin. But all of you have shared your tricks along the way, and could easily have earned a million points if there were only enough hours in the day.
Justin,
Cut me some slack here, please.
I have used your CHOOSE function in a half dozen questions since I first saw you apply it. I just love Dreamboat's "copy a 1 and Edit...Paste Special...Multiply" trick to convert text (including dates) to numbers. I have been trying to use Fanpages' Hungarian prefix method for naming variables, though old practices die hard. And though I've used Dave's RegExp several times, I feel more like a "script kiddie" than master of the technique.
There's a lot you can learn by reading other people's posts.
Brad
Brad, my last post was a just a sort of "in" joke with DB. When we were discussing Dave reaching the hall of fame a while back, similar jokes were made, you may recall.
I was just poking fun with you (and DB), did not mean to offend. My apologies :(
Sorry, guess my sense of humor apparently gets over-the-top on occasion. Please accept my apologies.
Best,
Justin
