Sorting in Pivotchart

Hi there,

Just asking if anyone knows how to do is.
From Acces I import a recordset containing 4 fields: [productcategory], [packing], [proceedsper100kg] and [country]
examples of the data are:

Productcategory: Socks , Trousers
Packing: Bulk, BigBags and Bags
Country: Germany, Belgium etc..
Proceedsper100kg: currencyfields so: €25 €30 etc

Now what I would like to get is the following 4 charts for each productcategory:
Socks
Packing
and then within Country I'd like to sort on proceedsper100kg

it would have to look like this
                                Socks
Y-axis (Format axis)
netproceeds

X-axis (category axis)
Bulk                                          Bigbags
        Germany    Belgium                           Netherlands   Germany
         
Hope you get the picture, within the packing countries should be sorted on proceedsper100kg

I get stuck because the wizard automatically sorts alphabetically on countryname, so I don;t get a clear picture of what country is doing best in the combinations of productcategory and kind of packing.

Very much obliged if someone could help me with this

Hi Piet,

Double-click the ‘Country’ field (either in the PivotTable or PivotChart) to get to the Field Settings dialog.  Then select button: Advanced…>Autosort options>Decending (select)> Using field:>Sum of Proceedsper100kg (select).

Your chart should now show the countries in the order of the greatest total Proceedsper100kg to the lowest total.
