The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Malaria and Excel! Chart all columns against all columns sequentially in Excel pivotchart

I have a large database of various parameters of malaria patients we've been investigating. I am at the beginning of processing the data, and Im keen to look for trends. There are roughly 80 columns of data covering every aspect of the disease in around 650 patients. At the moment, because I am looking for rough trends, I would like to compare every column with every column, so that, for example, column 'age' is compared with column 'CRP' (a blood borne inflammatory marker) where the CRP is averaged for each age, and similarly the other way around so that age is averaged for each CRP. Column A to B, B to A, A to C, C to A, A to D etc.
I have recently been introduced to the pivot chart tool. I can use this usefully to compare one column with another for individual comparisons. This is, however, extremely labour intensive given the number of comparisons I would like to do. Is there any way of carrying out this number of comparisons without having to it it sequentially. Does this exist as an aspect of the pivot tool? I would be very grateful for any advice or alternative suggestions. This project represents one of the largest collections of malaria patients ever collected and will probably be a published piece of research.
