Along the lines of what Brad has posted, put this formula in cell C39:
=SUMPRODUCT($B2:$B38,C2:C3
and copy it across to AF39.

Browse All TopicsWhat I have is a table of values...something like this
Description, Qty, # of A, # of B, # of C, etc.
Table, 3, 1, 0, 1
Chair 2, 5, 0,0
Bookcase 1, 0, 0, 2
and so on and so on...
What I want to do is multiply the Qty times each column and sum the entire column at the bottom...
So A would be 13
B would be 0
C would be 5
Is there a way to do this quickly? I have 32 columns and 38 rows.
Thanks!

Hi vivekpara, 500)
Take a look at the SUMPRODUCT function:
=SUMPRODUCT($B2:$B500*C2:C
The reference to row 500 may extend beyond your data.
Cheers!
