Read HTML Source in Excel

I need code that will read a website ( asp link). and allow me to pull data from the source. and fill values into a worksheet.

my application is to read stock info from a web site and pull my stock info into a formated excel document.

Well, without knowing anything more about it, it would be very difficult to help.  What you would want to do is a webquery.

Hi MICS,
Two alternative suggestions:
1) Download the stock link add-in from Microsoft:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=485FCCD8-9305-4535-B939-3BF0A740A9B1&displaylang=en
This add-in requires Excel 2002 or 2003, but it allows you to configure the type of information required by ticker symbol. It gets its data from the Microsoft Money web site. Note that you'll need to install the add-in, quit Excel, then relaunch Excel to be able to tap into its features.

2) Try recording a macro while you build a web query using the Data...External Data...Web Query menu item.

i tried a webquery but it would load the asp file.

the actual like i need to pull data from is

https://www.tdassetmanagement.com/TDAMFunds/Download/v_Download.asp?

the values i'm needing to pull are 'Fund Number' , 'Date', and 'Price/Yield'

i would like to be able to just pull the HTML source and filter through it myself in code.

This requires you to include the Microsoft Internet Transfer Controls in your references.  The file is msinet.ocx.
