VBA interpolate function to change cell colour when extrapolating ActiveCell & Select do not work

I want to set a cell value to the result of this function - how do I change the cell colour at the same time ?
ActiveCell and Select do not do the business.  I suspect I am missing something <b>Basic</b> here

Hi,
You cannot alter the state of a worksheet with a function called from a cell - you can only return a value.
