The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Run macro automatically ??

Asked by ammounpierre in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Software

Tags: macro, excel, run, automatically

Hello gurus,
I have a VFP application that creates excel files (statements of customers) ...
this application is creating like 3000 files per day.
I am having a problem when formatting the files so they can be printed directly....

problem1 : the files are being created in excel format 2.1 and when I am creating a subtotals...I need to save the file first or else I get an error...
Question 1: could I order the save in the macro I am recording ? it would be just to save the file in the new format xls 8. or else the macro that I am running gives me an error..

problem 2: the macro I created in the personal.xls so it is available to any workbook... I need to open every file , and run it...
question 2: is there a way so I can run this macro automatically ??? and how ? coz it can't be run more than once on the same file or it will mess it ip...
(so the macro can not be made to be run upon opening the file... what if the user opens the file more than once ??) .
be aware that these files have to be sent by email to users too...

thanks very much for your help.
