NETWORKDAYS Function not working

The analysis function Networkdays is not working in my spreadsheet. I have Analysis Toolpack checked in the add-ins section but excel doesn't recoqnize the funtion.

There are two Analysis ToolPak add-ins. Did you correctly check the box for the first one "Analysis ToolPak" -- or incorrectly for  the second one "Analysis ToolPak - VBA"?

Did you check the box for the add-in after creating the formula? If so, Excel won't salute your formulas until you take a few extra steps. The easiest is to use the Edit...Replace menu item to replace the = equals sign with itself. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291058/en-us

Did you disable VBA? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/282847/en-us

Actually the sheet is being generated in VBA.
I found the soloution. I've seen this problem before but had forgotten how I handled it.
I had to add this
    Excel.AddIns("Analysis ToolPak").Installed = False
    Excel.AddIns("Analysis ToolPak").Installed = True

The vba quirk is that you just can't set Excel.AddIns("Analysis ToolPak").Installed to true, you have to first set it to False. Looks like a bug if you ask me.
