The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. I am attempting to create a =AVERAGE in Excel 2003, but giving the range of fields to use with an IF statement with no avail.

I am attempting to create a =AVERAGE in Excel 2003, but giving the range of fields to use with an IF statement, but it either calculates the entire year or it gives me a DIV/0!.  I have tried AVERAGE first, AVERAGE(IF()), IF(AVERAGE and an early attempt to VBA.  It is supposed to look at the range dates in the entire year, and then give the number by the range, i.e.:

if date$>=a1 AND
date$ < a2
    then  average (b:b)

but "b" has to be the range within a1 and a2.  The begining of the week is given in the first date, and then every 7 days gives the begining of the week.  So, the begining of the question is equal and larger than the begining of the week and smaller than the begining of the following week.  This is my average range.  This will eventually follow a count, but in division of c1 and c2 as 7A-7P and 7P-7A.  The raw data is in a separate table in comparison to the report being populated on a second table.Start Free Trial
