Question

Save as file type options missing Excel 2003

Some computers on our LAN are missing some save as file type options in Excel 2003.  When I select file, save as, these options are gone.  Only workbook and all file types remain as options.  We have Hummingbird DM integrated into Outlook.  I suspect this is the cause but don't know the answer.

I saw that link, that's what made me register for the site.  I was wondering if I could find out from him what the fix was.  Our company requires everything to go through one person.  And wouldn't you just know it that person doesn't know the answer.  Hard to explain, but in my environment contacting the vendor isn't an option for branch offices.

I have no clue-it might be worth contacting the EE member who had the same problem. No point re-inventing the wheel

It's a known issue, but I don't see a fix

Maybe try uninstalling that excel update?

Sorry, check that link. It has details of the hummingbird update release. You will need to install this update to humminbird

We got it fixed.  It turned out to be the DMExcel03.xla file that controls DM integration with Excel.  We replaced it with an older file before the last patch we pushed out and it's working.
