Sorry, my mistake, you can't change font color in header, but you can enter blank characters instead in left section.

Question
excel page header display page count -1
I need to create a page header that has page x of n-1.
Oddly, if I subtract 1 from the [Page] it displays the page -* 1 correctly
Page &[Page]-1 of &[Pages]
but if I do the exact same thing to pages it does not work
Page &[Page] of &[Pages]-1
I am already processing business logic with VBA so I could change the pagesetup on the fly but we all know how slow that is so I am really looking for a simple solution I can whack into the header directly .... can you call worksheet funcitons or UDFs inside the header directly?

Insert same text in Left(or center) and Right section of header. In right section Excel displays what you want and than you can choose white for text color in left section - to hide that unwanted part of header. I can't find solution to display &[Pages]-1 correctly in right section of header.
In 2007 version this bug is corrected.
