I would like to have these grouped columns, closed and not visible to the user until certain point in time. I would like to create a button on the excel worksheet, that when clicked, would prompt for a password, and when the correct password was entered, it would show the grouped columns (from closed group). I have created the button in the worksheet. Is this possible?

I have accepted the solution to this question, but when updating my other workbooks (7 in total), I am unable to make the solution work. I have attached 8 excel files (7 are worksheets that need to be updated, 1 "TEMPLATE" is the worksheet that was created in part of the original question above that does work). I am trying to update the remaining 7 worksheets to do the following:
1. When worksheet is password protected, users may enter text into all cells, add rows, delete rows, and columns "AK:AS" remain group closed, and locked.
2. When the password (all passwords = "password") is entered using the "Unlock Residual Risk Assessment Matrix" button, columns "AK:AS" are group-open and users may still enter text into all cells, add rows, and delete rows.
I cannot duplicate the "Template" file (which is the file we used and completd during the original question) on the remaining 7 worksheets. I have added the button, code from the Template worksheet, and cannot get the protection parameters to work.
Can you please help? Please explain what I missed in the Template file?
