Just wanted to add this:
For the formula in C1, if B1=0 it means that the value or cell A1 is necessarely 1 or 4 or 6. There's no need to retest the value of cell A1 in that case since it was tested in B1.

I am trying to set up an excel spreadsheet that will return the word "TRANSFER" if the two conditions are true -
Going from left to right, I would like if the first cell contains the numbers 1,4,or 5, the next cell will return the value '0'. Finally, the last cell should return "TRANSFER" if the previous cells are true.
Any help would be appreciated.

Considering we're using cell A1 for the value:
")
In cell B1: =IF(OR(A1=1;A1=4;A1=6);0;"
In cell C1: =IF(B1=0;"TRANSFER";"")
