The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Inserting data in next free column

Hi,

I'm trying to produce a macro to insert some column titles (in row 1) in the next free columns.  
For example, column A is used for other titles, then column B is titled with a date which the user should enter, and column C is titled with "Average".  So Then column D would be another date, and E would be "Average" again.
Hopefully i'm wanting a macro linked to a button which when clicked asks the user for the date, perhaps selecting the date from a little calendar object, and then finds the next free column and inserts the date as the title, and then "Average" as the next column in row 1.

I've thought of producing a loop which maybe loops 28 times and produces a string like "AI" if that is the next free column which could then be used in Range() like
if range(string) = "" then free

Once these columns are entered the Average columns need formulas which produce the kind of cumlative average of all the values in the date columns up to that column.  So for example; the Average in column G works is the average from column B, D, and F, and then the average in column I is the average from column in B, D, F, and H.

I would also then like to be able to produce a graph using another macro perhaps using the same kind of logic which uses data from column A, C, E etc. so the "Average" values only.  But I will probably be able to figure that out from the above!
