Browse All TopicsI need to be able to copy a cell or a range of cells with a certain background color. An example would be i have 4 different colors on a sheet. I may need copy all the rows that have a yellow background to a different sheet for example. All the colors are common colors from the pallet. Each row has the same color through all the columns.

Use the function like this:
=sumxcolour(A1:G25,6)
where A1:G25 is the range which contains coloured cells, and where 6 is the colour (yellow) of the cells to add up. Have a look at the attached file and it will be clearer how it works.
