Rolling 12 month calculation

Hi, i am starting to think that the calculation i require does not exist!

Background data, airline data stored in excel 2003 i have a column of dates, and a column of hours.

requirement, i need to be able to show a rolling 12 month total to show the amount of hours flown.  This is not a 365 calculation but a 12 month calculation that shows when a pilot is getting near his available flying hours.  so i need to show the previous 11 months plus the current month????

I can try an attach file but will have to strip it out as is 50MB
