Calculated Fields in Pivot Table Display #Name? after change to underlying SQL View

I am creating an Excel pivot table on a SQL view.  When I add calculated fields to the pivot table and then make changes to the view it sometimes starts displaying #Name? in the calculated fields.  What causes this to happen and are there any best practices to follow in modifying a SQL view without messing up all my calculated fields in a pivot table?Start Free Trial
