The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Why do my cells keep reverting to Text Format?

I'm using Microsoft Excel, and having a problem with text formatting on formulas.  Every once in awhile, I run into this issue, and it is very annoying.  When I edit a cell reference, it sometimes wants to change to text format, and instead of displaying the results of the formula, it will show "=C5" in the cell.  I can fix it by changing to General Number Format, and then I have to click in the cell and hit enter again.  But this is an extra step that I hate messing with all the time.  I attached an example that duplicates the issue.  This same problem exists in both 2003 and 2007.  How can I make this annoyance go away?Start Free Trial
