#value! error

Asked by Treasur2 in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Software

I have a workbook with 28 sheets. 26 of which contain data.  The 26 are split into 3 projects.

I'm trying to roll-up data from 9 sheets into #10. On SOME cells I'm getting the #Value! error.

What I've done to attempt to clear it.

All other 9 sheets

1. Cleared contents of all formatting. Then re-entered data.
2.  Used the Format painter to verify that the formating of the data on the relevant cells are the same.
3.  Re-entered the data.
4. Tried to isoloate the problem buy not including all 9 sheets individually.

Nothing I do seems to make alllll.........the errors go away. Them seem to pop up in different cells depending on which worksheet I delete from the formula.

Perhaps the smartest thing is a refresher course on adding/summing the same cell reference from mulitple worksheets.

Ex.  sheet1 a1=1, sheet2 a1=1, sheet3 a1=1...............sheet4 a1=?

Nothing I've tried seems to elimante
