The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Automate Emailing Function When user Exports Report, using VB Code?

Hello Experts...I want to use a function in an excel template that automates an email sent to me with specific information from an export command button that users would click when done entering in scores. If possible I would like to fill a template file with each users final scores. I figure the only systems my users and I have in common is  a Shared Drive, Microsoft Outlook (using Exchange Server 2003), and Excel. So the process would be:

1.A template is setup in Excel with Forms,drop-downs and functions for the user made with VB code and macros.
2. The a copy of the Excel template file is made and uploaded into our shared-site.
3. The file is downloaded and inputs are made by the User.
4. When done, the template asks the user to create the Excel export file.
5. If yes, the user click 'OK' and the export process uses input information to create an Excel file containing information from their inputs.
6. This file is created on their 'C:\' drive (used as a universal file path). This is where I would like to have the final data/output file/notification with data sent to me. I am not sure if this can be done. Any help is great help. Thanks!
