Using a shared Excel spreadsheet.  Lose formulas in 2000 when someone in 2007 saves the file

We have an Excel Spreadsheet that we save as an HTML file so multiple people can view the doc at one time without changing it.  However, we do have multiple people that edit that file.  Of course with multiple people comes multiple versions of Excel.  98% of our users still have Office 2000.  We do have a couple that are using Office 2007.  When someone using Office 2007 edits that file and saves it the formulas that were in the file disappear and we have to reenter the formulas.  This are basic formulas such as B8+.25.
