select/highlight data in column D if it exists in column C - Excel 2003

I have a xcl that contains semi-random data.... not record rows like a db.  I would like to run a macro or something that will hightlight all cells that have records that exist in both columns c and d.  

So, if cell c2 contains "asdf" and d10 contains the same I would like to change that text.color.

any ideas how to write this up?

See the attached code. It loops over the first 1000 records, and checks the value of A and if it matches B...then it colors it.

the above code will happen after you enter the values...(when the worksheet changes)...that should get you going...

thanks but I get a compile error on the IF statement.
And with my very beginner VBA it doesn't look to do what I need.  What is the 15 value for?
And where does it compare two columns?

Using what you gave me I have came up with this
But I would like to auto quit with a messagebox when it reaches a null or empty value in a varROWcounterD, 2 value check

I tried an IF statement with isnull and = null resutling in an end.  Neither seemed to stop the macro
any ideas?

You can do this without macros...Check out the workbook i have done the same by conditional formating which is format-->conditional formating...

Check out the formula...its doing what you are looking for...
