The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Excel Manipulation v3

Hey EPAC, this one is for you again. I had a few issues when applying your sheet to mine. Keep in mind on my sheet I have 9 rows of data, 1 including "A" which is the date.

1) For future months there is no data in the section. Until data is input, the final cell for the month reads #DIV/0! for each cell including the month name. Without text in the cells for the month, is there a way to have it read the month's name like normal? For instance, if there is no data for September, the row detailing the month of December would read: Sep AVG 0  0  0  0  0 etc..

2) Conditional formatting behavior can only be applied to the cells you provided. I clicked on each additional row of data so row 1 is highlighted and copy and pasted the formula from the working cells. Is there someway I need to activate conditional formatting so it will work on the rest of the rows?

3) Can you switch the formulas for me and use 10% instead of 6%? In other words, if it's above 10% of the average go red and if it's below 10% of the average go green.
