The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Test a cell value in sheet1 against a column of values in sheet 2.

I am building a macro to automate a manual procedure that takes a .xls file of raw data and formats it for a monthly report. One of the steps is to remove all rows that don't match a set list of equipment.
Sheet1 holds the raw data and sheet2 has a list of all the equipment we want in the report.
Example
Sheet1
       A                        B                     C
SystemName    CircuitName     CardHwver
--------------------------------------------------------
Northeast01     Link01              80.6530
Northeast01     Link02              80.3210
South01           Link01              80.6530

Sheet2

         A                         B                C
  CardModelNo     CardType    CardDensity
------------------------------------------------------
83.1890                GigE               Low
80.6530               DS0                High
80.6531               DS3                  High

For each row in sheet1, I need to test the value in col C (CardHwVer)
against all the values in col A (CardModelNo) in sheet2.
If no match is found then delete the row from sheet1. If a match is found then do nothing and move on.

I am just learing VBA. Learning is the keyword here.
In order to get the best grade, the solution needs to be commented so I don't have to spend hours trying to figure out how it works (unless of course it's just so dang simple).
