Sorting of xls file

I want script like, suppose
I will give some number rage for ex. 100.10 to 100.10.1 it has to search that range then it give output of that, if there is duplicate entry with same number then it has to highlight that duplicate and this out put has to give in separate file and that file content has to search that number name file in particular folder that it has to give the path of that file in that folder.
