Excel Convert a Cross Ta into a table

We are getting data in a a cross Tab form , we need to convert it  into a table so we  can  do Pivots on the data.

So the data looks a bit like this  

                              Date
                             01/01/09           01/02/09  .....
Price of X     US          1.5                    1.7
Price of X     UK          1.2                    1.3
Price of Y    EU           1.7                    2.3


What we want to do is transform it into

Price of X     US  01/01/09        1.5                    
Price of X     US  01/02/09        1.7                    
....

    Could you post a small sample of the actual data layout as a workbook, and an indication of how many rows and columns you get (roughly)?

    I was hoping to have a single copy of  the data and use somehting in  Excel to view data in a flattened form almost the the reverse of Pivot perhaps as an eternal data source.

    I have included a sample of the data , showing  wat the data is like when I get it and what I want the data to look like , so I can process it using Pivot tables.
