Browse All TopicsI have data in an .xlsx file that I need to import into an Access 2007 table. However, the data needs to be edited so that the columns are compatible with the Access table.
This sample table (attached) contains 4 subjects and about 250 fields. The real table will contain ~ 800 subjects ~ 500 columns. The Access table (attached) contains 13 Columns: Subject ID, Category, Class, Drug Name, Start Date, End Date, date-unknown, Multiple Trials, Duration Used, Reason Stopped, Response Type, Treatment Induced, Comments. Sample is attached.
These are the same columns in the Excel file, except that each of the 12 columns after Subject_ID are repeated X the number of medications used by each subject.
I need help creating the code to automate the movement of each group of 12 columns with the same field names to the left so that all data under each field name is in one column with each subject's data in consecutive rows. Thanks
