I need to create a few combo boxes in an excel sheet that is populated with a menu.
I plan on using the selection that user makes it to run an event.

The easiest is to use data validation. Create a tab with all your menu items, name the ranges (Insert Name in XL03, Formulas Name Manager in 07), then create a data validation \ List \ =MyRangeName.
