destination file.
Hello all,
I am looking for a code, I know there are some VBA codes out there that will "break" the link between 2 workbooks. What I am wondering is if there is a way to avoid creating that link when copying a Chart Object from one workbook to another using VBA? This is the only external link that keeps popping up and I was wondering if it was possible to get rid of this.
Thanks.

If you are copying the data range as well then you can just relink the destination workbook to itself (from the source workbook) using ChangeLink in VBA
This gets the Chart pointing to the data in the destination folder
