Ahh, so simple! Thanks

Browse All TopicsI am trying to copy the values frorm an xlsm file over to a flat spreadsheet (xlsx). The values are made by some (poorly written) function that has hard-coded if/then statements in it. I just want the values that appear in the spreadsheet, but if I copy/paste, I get #NAME? as it is using the formula (formulaName(A1,B1,C1))
I just want the value to be copied - how do I do that?
*this is probably simple, but I am a programmer and excel is chinese to me

You can simply also do this..rather then just doing paste do a paste special-->values to do that follow these steps--> right click on the mouse after you have copied-->paste special-->select the option of values only and this will paste just the values rather then the formulas...
