Excel VBA - Get Row number from a Match

Hello,

I am looking for the word "HELLO" in a colum of a spreadsheet (there should only be one instance of the word), I just need to know which row it appears in, how can I do this in VBA ?

You will get a type mismatch if you do not declare Row as a Variant, or try to assign Row to a Long if Row contains an error.

What is Int_Ref?

Also, you can't pass an error to MsgBox.

Int_Ref = ITHD_1_.txtbx.Value

      MsgBox "Value not found"

I see, it appears not to find Int_ref... Int_ref is definately valid however and is passing the right value to the variable. Do you know why its not matching the value ?

Its a String

Dim Int_Ref As String

Int_Ref = ITHD_1_.txtbx.Value

 ITHD_1_ is a userform.

Check the values on the worksheet. Make sure they do not have trailing spaces.
