Can you post the sheet or a sample of the sheet for us? We could take a look at it and see if there is a better way to do the calculations you want with less overhead.

Hi,
i've a spread sheet with about 50 columns. About half of the columns have in cell formulaes for which some the other columns are the inputs for the calculation. The speadsheet operates on a row by row basis. The sheep has about 10,000 rows
Obiously this is a lot of calculations going on!
I was wondering, say I change a value in cell C20 (which is an input), is it possible to only reculculate the formulae on row 20? Recalculating everything on the sheet is a massive and time consuming overhead
I hope I explained this ok. If not just ask for clarity!
Thanks

Sorry. I mightn't have explained very well.
I don't want to calculate everything on the sheet. The first segment of code you contributed had row 20 hard coded. I want to change this so it uses the row that has changed (in place of 20). The second code segment you gave re-calculates every row - which is what I originally had and it drains performance.
Thanks

There really isn't any way to do this when cell values are based on formulas.
