Hi,
If i understand this correctly this can be done with a single formula...
=SUMPRODUCT(--($AB$2:$AB$2
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsHello, I have a spread sheet list of students signed up for classes. Each row says how many are signed up and whether they are attending "Day 1" or "Day 2".
I want to create a quick way to see how many are signed up for which day.
On line 18 I do not know how to reference the value I am looking for... it is located in column AA. I am looping through the cells in AB to determine if the value in AA should be added to the running total.
What do i use to reference that?
Thank you,
Jacob Bushnell

to return the value of the cell to the immediate left of the cell you are looking at use this
which says start at the variable cell, move zero rows, move one colun to the left
Cheers
